- South Africa basedVox Telecom has shuffled its board to bring it in line with the provisions of the Corporate Laws Amendment Act and the revised corporate governance requirements in the King Report on Corporate Governance. The telecommunications company says Vulindlela (Vuli) Cuba has been appointed as non-executive chairman. Current chairman Tony van Marken will assume the role of CEO, while Doug Reed moves from CEO to group MD.
- Integrated business communications solutions provider Spescom has appointed Amanda Albäck as CFO from the start of this month. In May, the South African company said Dashni Sinivasan was leaving the company to join a network operator, but did not disclose the name of the company she was joining.
