-The means to establish a network of North African scientific research on priority development including alternative and renewable energies were the focal points of the Ministerial committee of senior officials of higher education in countries of the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU). During a meeting held recently in Morocco to study the prospects of development of new technologies in the Maghribi regions, members of the committee agreed to create a Maghribi website for all universities and research centers in the country of the regions.
- Ghana is the third in the league of countries where people look for love on the internet, a global survey conducted by the BBC World Service shows, a Reuters report indicates. The survey interviewed 10,976 adults who had used the Internet in the previous six months across 19 countries, and was conducted for BBC World Service by polling firm GlobeScan. The poll revealed that Pakistan and India are the two countries with the greatest numbers of enthusiasts for Internet match-making followed by Ghana.
