- Vodacom will see several changes to its board of directors after its listing on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange (JSE) in May. The company will gain several new board members, including a new chairman, Peter Moyo, who will replace outgoing chairman, Andrew Mabandla. Thoko Mokgosi-Mwantembe, ICT veteran and former MD of Hewlett-Packard SA, is another new addition to the executive team.

- Stafford Masie, Chief Executive of Google South Africa has resigned from his position at the company. Masie, who joined Google in 2007 after a stint as South African country manager of Novell, cited personal reasons for the split from the global tech giant.
