- Standard Bank Namibia this week published advertisements in local papers announcing the launch of its new internet banking interface. However, The Namibian has been inundated by SMS and e-mail complaints since last week. A lack of internet banking, bureaucratic and poor customer service especially from the bank's home loan division and Customer Care Centre are some of the complaints from clients of one of Namibia's biggest banks.
