- Huawei handed over a fully equipped ICT laboratory to the University of Ghana, Legon. The $200,000 laboratory built for the Faculty of Engineering Sciences is expected to enhance the teaching and learning of ICT by tutors and students of the faculty. Huawei also entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the university on behalf of the faculty. This is to allow Huawei staff to visit the engineering faculty regularly on technical assistance, and the supply of logistics, while students of the faculty would also be accepted on industrial attachment with the company and also employment where applicable.
