- Lecturers and staff from four universities across Ethiopia are receiving computer training thanks to the work of a UK charity and a Worcester college In total, 50 people will take the Moodle e-learning course which can be used to link students to online resources which can help their studies.The course is being hosted at Mekelle University, in Ethiopia's Tigray District, with lecturers from Aksum, Samara and Jimma universities are also taking part. Moodle allows instructors to support their courses by linking students to online resources such as handouts, websites, and YouTube videos; engaging students in online debates, and setting assignments which the students can submit online.
