Orange Madagascar launches usage-based hotel Wi-Fi
Orange Madagascar has launched the "Surf and Pay" offer to bring the internet to more consumers. Offered to hotels and restaurants, up to 20 laptops, smartphones and tablets can connect to the internet over Wi-Fi. The service starts at 30 GB and then rises by 10 GB at a time, so facilities pay only for what really consumed. Hotels and restaurants can choose to offer the service for free or can charge their customers for internet access based on time or volume. Orange will demonstrate the solution at the Madagascar Industry Exhibition between 13-18 November. In related news, the operator recently launched a Cybercafe offer, also for shared access by up to 20 computers.
