Internet - In Brief
- US-based Mushroom Networks has teamed up with French IT company Impartial-IT to launch internet services in North Africa. Mushroom Networks plans to introduce its 'broadband bonding' service, which links several access points from different service providers, enabling companies to have stable connections regardless of any failure in the internet access points, ITWeb reported. The broadband bonding technology accepts any combination of connections, including T1, fibre, DSL and cable, and combines them for optimal speed and improved reliability owing to redundancies of multiple connections, Impartial-IT said in a statement. Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria are set to get the service.
