Angola: Governor Calls for Digital Library in Lobito City

Benguela ' The provincial governor of Benguela Province, Isaac dos Anjos, last Monday in the central Benguela Province, called for the construction of a digital library in Lobito City, given the population density in the area.

The governor, who was speaking at the opening of the 5th Consultative Council of the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, mentioned the importance of building a digital library in Benguela, particularly in the Lobito Municipality, as it constitutes another major concentration of population in the province.

Isaac do Anjos, who defended the need to popularize the information technology and communication for the province, spoke about the visibility of the Angolan Executive's actions to connect the country through information technologies, especially the extension of the optical fibre and electronic governance, through the portal of the government of Angola.
