M4JAM announces appointment of Brett StClair

Brett StClair has joined M4JAM (Money for Jam), the microjobbing startup that has taken South African brands and consumers by storm. StClair’s 10 years of global experience and his vast business network will be put to good use from March as chief jam creator responsible for growing the number of jobs on platform and helping to scale the business globally.
Having made a name for himself at Google, most recently as Google for Work Regional Manager Sub Saharan Africa, StClair says joining M4JAM was a simple choice: “M4JAM is the first local startup I have seen that ticks all the boxes: they have a sticky product that has already hit tipping point and they have built a model that can scale globally, leveraging cloud computing as well as having built repeatable business processes right the way from sales through to support. More importantly they are changing the market by providing micro jobs to people in an emerging market. That gets me really excited.”

Co-founder and chief jammer of M4JAM, Andre Hugo, is equally excited to have StClair onboard. “Brett’s vast digital, mobile experience and business network will compliment the strong team of 12 people that are already on board and his experience will be key as we add more layers onto the foundations that we have created over the past six months. Our sole focus for the first part of 2015 is to bring more brands and jobbers onto the platform and then to scale globally.”
