MTN views the abuse of women, children and other vulnerable members of society in a serious light, says the company's Kusile Mtunzi-Hairwadzi.
The MTN SA Foundation has supported and refurbished four White Door Centre of Hope (WDCH) homes with ICT infrastructure, furniture and clothing to provide a safety haven for survivors of gender-based violence.
According to the MTN SA Foundation, the WDCH initiative is a project that identifies and renovates under-utilised spaces in communities in order to turn them into safe havens for survivors of gender-based violence. Read the full article on ITWeb Africa here:
