Last call for applications to SA Orange Corners incubator
Applications are open to the 2018 cohort of the Orange Corners incubator, with 45 South African entrepreneurs to be selected to join the year-long programme.
Orange Corners is an initiative launched by the Kingdom of the Netherlands in partnership with top-tier Dutch businesses – such as Heineken, Shell, and Vopak.
The programme aims to support the growth of South African startups, by providing them with expert training and mentoring from partner businesses, as well as access to networks and supply chains.
The programme will be held at three Johannesburg-based hubs, in Maboneng, Diepsloot and Braamfontein.
“Our mission is to establish an innovative support system for entrepreneurs and truly partner with them in their business journeys. A key element of the initiative is to link startups to companies and knowledge institutes from South Africa and the Netherlands. Orange Corners is a take-off platform for South African startups and a landing platform for Dutch entrepreneurs,” said Marisa Gerards, Dutch Ambassador to South Africa.
The 45 chosen entrepreneurs will join a three-day bootcamp in November, in preparation for the full programme which runs across 2018.
Applications are available here until October 31.
