Nigeria Has Been Ranked 15th In ICT Development In Africa

The International Telecommunications Union (ITU), last week, released a report on the 2017 ICT Development Index (IDI), which measured the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) development in Africa – Nigeria was ranked 15th.

According to the report, Mauritius, Seychelles, South Africa, Cape Verde, Botswana, Gabon, Ghana, Namibia, Cote d’Ivoire, Sao Tome and Principle, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Senegal all rank ahead of Nigeria in ICT development. The annual survey examined about 38 countries in Africa and studied the adoption of new technology trends and growth of ICT amongst the countries. Read the full article on Konbini here.
