Zambia says appointment to Smart Africa Board to improve efficiency

The Zambian government said on Thursday that the country’s appointment to the Smart Africa Board will go a long way in improving accountability, efficiency and openness through Information and Technology Communications (ICTs).

Zambia was duly appointed to the 12-member Board of Smart Africa, an Kigali-headquartered alliance comprising several African countries and institutions committed to promoting ICTs as a driver for socio-economic growth, at the ongoing “Transform Africa Summit” in Kigali, Rwanda.
