UN starts panel on digital cooperation

The United Nations (UN) has convened an independent panel to address issues of digital cooperation. Secretary General of the UN, Antonio Guterres said the panel is expected to identify gaps in the current state of digital collaboration and suggest how to optimise cooperation.

The panel, which includes 22 members from government, private sector, science and civil society, is led by Bill Gates' wife Melinda Gates and Alibaba founder Jack Ma.
