Sonatel takes the next step by launching its 4G + in Senegal

Sonatel has recently launched 4G +, an innovation it says responds to the commitment of the State of Senegal to the implementation of ts “Digital Agenda 2025”.

According to the Director of Sonatel Sekou Dramé, to meet the needs of 8 million customers in Senegal, Sonatel has committed since January 2017, to further lower Internet rates to reach the goal of -50% in relation to current rates but also to strengthen the quality of our internet networks to improve the customer experience daily.

“With the arrival of 4G +, Sonatel is re-engaging its demanding service level customers to deliver an exceptional experience with unmatched connection and download speeds. It’s not because we are in Senegal that we do not need this technology. Our ambition is to bring to Senegal the best of digital technologies. We believe this is the time to bring this technology and contribute to the country’s digital transformation, in the implementation of the 2025 strategy, “says Dramé.

In addition, 4G + is available in Dakar and Ziguinchor. So far, 130 sites are covered with 4G +, with more expansion expected in the rest of the country.
