Wits JCSE and LINK Centre present: Cybsecurity Professional Practice and Leadership

Managing high value or high volume electronic transactions? Managing e-identity? Managing personal data in the cloud? Then this course is for you. Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and their risk, audit and IT teams need to continuously build cybersecurity governance and cybersecurity resilience. This course includes attention to technical concepts and leadership roles; legislative, regulatory and institutional framework for the cybersecurity domain (including standards, audit and readiness frameworks, security architectures design and methodologies); cybersecurity technology trends and future-proofing organisations; cybersecurity strategies; and a short research paper on a topic of your choice.

Providers: Joburg Centre for Software Engineering (JCSE) and the LINK Centre, University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), Johannesburg. Lecturers are cybersecurity and strategy specialists.
