CONTRACTS: WHO'S SELLING WHAT TO WHO?
* CONSORTIUM AND LIMPOPO HOSPITAL – SOUTH AFRICA
The R261 million tender for upgrading and maintaining hospital information systems in the Limpopo province has been awarded to LHC Health Solutions, a Limpopo-based black economic empowerment (BEE) consortium, says health department spokesperson Phuti Seloba. It is understood LHC will partner the Australian-based IBA Health, and Seloba confirms the Medicom software solution will be deployed, while he says IBM will be “strategically involved”.
* MOBILIS AND LCC - ALGERIA
Algérie Mobile Network (AMN, known as Mobilis) has announced a twelve month extension of its turnkey services agreement with LCC International, in a deal worth USD19 million. The contract will see LLC providing full turnkey services to support Mobilis over the coming year.
