Kenya's UUNet last week unveiled its new international gateway. The company has set up a state-of-art satellite earth station at the company's Parkside Towers offices in Nairobi. The company says it will offer Multi Protocol Label Switching (for VoIP), video-conferencing and real time data communications.

"Companies that run enterprise resource planning system in their offices outside Kenya will now operate more efficiently and reliably," said the firm's general manager, Robert Kariuki.
