A Ghanaian insurance company Network Assurance has bought a Nigerian-developed software called Perfect Pension.The Managing Director of General Systems Technology Limited, developers of the software, Shola Kuku said the selection of Perfect Pension is an eloquent testimony that given the right encouragement, Nigerian software will in no time become a major foreign exchange earner for the country.

The Perfect Pension, he said is an integrated pension and gratuity system that has already become the industry benchmark in the country with more than thirteen insurance companies in the country using it.

The system he said addresses the complex and time consuming pensions and gratuity administration/benefits calculations. It caters for various pension benefits and calculations for both the public and private sector including retirement benefits and compulsory /voluntary retirement due to heath reasons, death on duty, total permanent disability as well as incapacity pension.

According to Kuku, Perfect Pension is a functionally rich with features including, easy set -up, user defined and gratuity benefits, complete password protection and auto data retrieval and update. Others include, high performance menu driver, context sensitive HELP facility and full system documentation.

GST, Kuku said set out to focus and develop functionally rich software for the insurance industry which suffered a lot of neglect due to so much emphasis on banking software by Nigerian developers stressing that to the glory of God, that effort was not a wasted one.

Today he said, our "Perfect range of insurance software has become the leading name in the industry".
