A firm claiming Sh365 million from Kenya Pipeline Company for alleged information technology services was last week described as a briefcase company. The High Court heard that Datalogix Ltd was an "outfit set up to take money from Kenya Pipeline Company."

And the claim it has lodged against the state corporation was a fraud as it was never awarded any tender by KPC as required by law, lawyer Wanyonyi Wekesa told Mr Justice Leonard Njagi of the Milimani Commercial Courts.

Relevant Links Datalogix was created by four people as an "alias" of Cybercom, a firm which at the time worked as a consultant for KPC, said Mr Wekesa. Mr Fred Ngatia, lawyer for Datalogix will respond to KPC's submissions on July 8.
