ACCESSKENYA OFFERS BROADBAND MAX AT SAME PRICE AS 64K LEASED LINE
AccessKenya has launched Broadband Max to give clients a faster service for the same price as a dial up subscription. Whereas a client previously had to buy a leased line with a speed of 64kup/64k down, Broadband Max, now offers 64k of uplink and 128k downlink for the same price.
Somen said: "Almost all corporate customers around the world use more downlink than uplink as they download extensive web pages and graphics from the internet."He said a survey done by the firm on its corporate clients in Kenya had confirmed that almost all of them conformed to this profile. Chief operating officer, Kris Senanu, said that with the recent deregulation of the market, the company had bought extra bandwidth.
