* Grintek has confirmed that its CEO, Shaun Liebenberg, has resigned to take up the post of CEO designate at Denel. Although the resignation is with effect from 15 April, the group says Liebenberg's employment will continue "until such time as all the operational issues pertaining to his departure have been dispensed with".

* Enugu-based Rainbownet Limited, the leading Fixed Wireless telephone services provider in the South-East of Nigeria, has announced the appointment of Tom Njoku as its new head of Marketing. Njoku, who was until his new appointment the Regional Manager in charge of Enugu, joined the services of the company in May, 2003. He is a graduate of Accountancy-/Business Education from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt. He also holds an MBA in Finance/Banking from the ESUT Business School Lagos.

* South African Department of Communications Deputy Director Phakamile Pangwana will move to Vodacom at the end of May.
