- HP Nigeria Limited has disclosed plans to open additional service centre in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja.

- ProScan Systems, a distributor of barcoding, data collection, RFID, wireless networking and mobile technologies, recently introduced the Intermec CK31, a lightweight but rugged mobile computer suitable for retail in-store operations and warehousing and distribution environments. The CK31's combination of Microsoft Windows CE .NET operating system and versatile display makes it possible to run virtually any data collection application, from legacy terminal emulation to modern Web-based graphical programs, providing an easy platform for application support and development. It has a full 52-key alphanumeric keyboard for applications ranging from shipping and receiving, put-away and picking to cycle counting for the warehouse floor and a high-capacity lithium-ion battery for at least a full shift of use without recharging.
