LIBERCELL TAKES INTERNET AND MOBILE OUTSIDE MONROVIA TO KAKATA
Barely a week after it launched its network in Tubmanburg, Bomi County, Libercell, one of four GSM operators in the country, launched its Internet and GSM services in Kakata, about 35 kilometers from Monrovia. The Internet and GSM services were launched Wednesday during a program organized by Libercell. The Internet will be opened to citizens and residents of the county using its service in two days. GSM services have already commenced. Yesterday's program was attended by officials of the county, the Acting Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Towah A. Towah, a member of the National Assembly and other officials of Government. Speaking at the occasion, a member of Libercell's Board, Anthony Deline told a gathering that Kakata will be the first area outside of Monrovia to benefit from internet services.
