Privately owned mobile operator Unitel has invested USD4 million in its national network so far. According to its D-G Luciano Pereira da Costa this money was spent on all aspects of the network. He said that his company was improving its customer services, notably the sound quality, through purchasing up-to-date network equipment. The company currently covers 17 out of Angola's 18 provinces and it inaugerated its service to Kuando-Kubango (south-east) last Thursday adding the last uncovered province to its list.
