SA'S MTN ANNOUNCES FREE PREPAID MOBILE BROWSING WITH MTNLOADED
It says that WAP access to MTNLoaded will be free for three months following the launch, and customers will only be charged for the items that they buy, billing all purchases conveniently to customers' phone accounts, with airtime deducted according to purchases.
MTN says the services on MTNLoaded are organised by lifestyle rather than by technology, and are categorised according to people's interests, such as music, sport, games, news and entertainment, with these services being updated regularly.
Santie Botha, group executive director at MTN, says: "MTNLoaded and its free prepaid WAP over GPRS offering is something that local prepaid users have always wanted, and MTN is delighted to offer this service to our customers."
MTN states that MTNLoaded has the widest range of mobile content and services in the country, with the music category alone containing news, reviews and videos, daily alerts for events in the major cities, the latest music chart hits, and a collection of wallpapers and logos of over 300 artists, with more than 1 000 ringtones of songs.
