The theme of this year’s sixth annual African Computing & Telecommunications Summit is "Building partnerships to mainstream Africa’s ICT sector", reflecting the new drive across the continent to develop internal and external alliances in order to leverage on latest technology developments and international industry trends.

The combined conference and exhibition will be held at the new Mauritius CyberTower, a key element of the countr’s drive to become a business process outsourcing centre. BPO will be a major theme of the Summit. Others include:

* The African eGovernment Forum, in association with the UN Economic Commission of Africa
