ALCATEL MAROC INVESTS IN CALL-CENTRES

Alcatel Maroc has set up a new division dedicated to the booming business of call centres in Morocco. It has two million euros to invest in pursuit of this goal. "Our objective is to profit from the dynamism of the market fort call-centres through commercialising the solutions we have dedicated to this market", said Gérard Avril, the manager responsible for this new entity based in Salé. Three markets have been targeted: call centres, VOIP telephony and unified corporate communications.

According to the new trade association for call centres in Morocco, the potential market by 2007 will be between 10-18,000 positions.
