TELKOM SA CHOOSES AMDOCS BILLING AND ORDERS PLATFORM
Amdocs has announced that Telkom South Africa will standardize on Amdocs as its core platform to seamlessly automate and link customer relationship management, billing, and order management processes. No value was disclosed.
Telkom South Africa will extend its current implementation of Amdocs ClarifyCRM to manage customer-facing processes and interactions in a fully browser-based environment. This extended implementation also includes the enhancement of its existing Amdocs billing platform and introduction of Amdocs order management to automate the entire ordering process - from order negotiation and capture through allocation of network resources, provisioning and fulfillment. Amdocs said that the result will be a reduction in time-to-market for new voice and data offerings and an improvement in customer service to its 4.8 million fixed lines while streamlining operations.
Amdocs said that Telkom South Africa made its selection based on Amdocs’s proposed capabilities in order management and CRM, its track record of successful collaborations in billing and proven system integration. Telkom South Africa is using Amdocs billing and CRM products to create a centralized product catalog across its entire portfolio of complex data, voice, Internet, ADSL and Value Added Services offerings.
