FUTUREX AND FUTUREBIT 2004: WHERE ICT-E AND BUSINESS CONNECT
2004 will mark the beginning of a whole new era in South Africa’s ICT-E industry with the launch of Futurex, a single, unified and definitive event for the Information and Communications Technologies and Electronics (ICTE) industries, claim the organisers of the event.
A product of the integration of Computer Faire, South Africa’s leading IT exhibition for the past 25 years, and Tel.com, Southern Africa’s premier international telecoms exhibition - this new, evolved technology exhibition takes place at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, over 18-21 May 2004.
In line with the global move towards convergence, Futurex and its associated conference FutureBIT - Taking business, IT & telecommunications into the future - will provide the perfect forum for technology thought leaders and key business buyers to meet to discuss the technologies, equipment, systems, services and business solutions critical to success in the e-business age.
The Computer Society of South Africa (CSSA) in partnership with the Black IT Forum (BITF), the Electronic Industries Federation (EIF), Information Industry South Africa (IISA), the IT Association (ITA), South Africa Communications Forum (SACF) and the Communication Users Association of SA (CUASA) will organise the FutureBIT conference alongside Futurex, making this a fully converged event.
