- South Africa’s media and entertainment group Johnnic Communications has disposed of 15,458,810 shares in its listed equity investment in cellular phone services provider MTN Group over the past year, the group disclosed on Tuesday last week.

- Cellular Systems Limited (Celsys) is likely to list on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) in the second quarter of the year through the reverse take-over of Falcon Gold Zimbabwe Limited (Falgold).

  - Loita Investment Bank (Malawi) has joined a consortium of Trojan Communications, Africa Venture Partners and the Development Bank of Southern Africa to vie for Malawi Telecommunications Limited (MTL) shares. Other interested consortia buyers are: Telecom Consultants India Limited, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited and National Insurance Limited; and local conglomerate Press Corporation Limited (PCL), CDC Capital Partners and Detecon International.
